This wonderful French coming-out drama follows the whirlwind romance of two young men in different stages of coming out and paints a heartbreaking portrait of the difficulties that befall a relationship when one man lives proudly out of the closet, while the other has created a double life to please his parents.

Laurent a 23-year-old student, shares an apartment with his best friend, Carole, using their relationship to deflect questions about his private life. This perfect ruse is upended when he meets and falls in love with Cédric, a young man completely comfortable with and unburdened by his homosexuality. Laurent's life becomes unbearable when he falls in love with Cédric but is unable to live openly. Unlike Laurent, Cédric does not hesitate to introduce Laurent as his boyfriend to his mother who accepts her son and his relationship. But though he loves Laurent, Cédric is unable to live a life of lies. He gives Laurent an ultimatum: either Laurent lives his life openly and without apology or the relationship is over.
