Japanese Movie : Love Never To End (2007)

Washed-out writer Murao Kikuji (Toyokawa Etsushi) penned many popular novels in the past, but it has been a while since he's written anything new. Separated from his wife, he passes his time editing for a magazine and lecturing at a university. When Kikuji meets housewife Fuyuka (Terajima Shinobu), the two lonely souls instantly connect, forming an illicit bond of love and passion. Then one summer morning, Kikuji strangles Fuyuka to death - because she asked him to. Based on a best-selling novel by Junichi Watanabe , who has written more than 50 novels (many are best sellers and award winners), Ai no rukeichi explores the extreme side of romanticism and eroticism. Instead of sharing a poisoned chalice with his lover, the novelist hero strangles her , for she believes that death at the height of bliss is much sweeter than earth moving sex that she has been sharing with him.The movie combines romance, tragedy and erotica into an impulsive anthem of life, love and death.
